Hypnotherapy: About

What is Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy

To quote one of my wonderful hypnotherapy teachers, Yuvraj Kapadia, EKAA:

“Hypnotherapy…The moment we hear this word, our mind immediately connects it to HYPNOSIS; which brings images of stage shows, magic, and then the fear of being controlled. Perhaps, there is no other word which induces awe, curiosity, excitement, and fear all at the same time.”

Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy are part of science focused on the human mind.

Hypnosis is a method working with the mind, and hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis for therapy.

Our state of mind is the key to everything: how we perceive reality, how we feel, how we interact with others, our health, and the list goes on. Therefore, our entire existence depends on our state of MIND.

Since hypnotherapy works with the state of our mind, it can be utilised very productively for achieving excellence, accomplishment, success, abundance, and perfect human health.

Effective work with our mind can be harnessed to live and experience our life in its most empowering and highest possible potential.

To repeat, Hypnotherapy utilises the power of the human mind for excellence, growth, and health care.

Hypnos definition is the Greek god of sleep, Latin Somnus.

However, hypnosis is NOT the sleep. Father of hypnosis, James Braid, coined the term as “neuro-hypnotism” – “nervous sleep,” attempting to explain this altered state of consciousness.

In reality, hypnosis is a state of awareness where the body is relaxed, perhaps sleeping, but the mind is very aware and completely present to what is happening.

It is a natural state we all experience every day, at least twice a day, when we are falling asleep (hypnagogic state) and waking up (hypnopompic state).

Hypnosis is a completely natural state of human awareness and it is completely SAFE to experience and benefit from it.

The human MIND is often projected as an invisible body. Therefore, whatever happens in our body, starts within our minds. Our mind is made up of two main parts:

1. The conscious mind: This is that part of our mind which thinks, logics, analyses, feels, decides, and acts on those decisions. This is what we understand of life and is 10-12% of the total mind capacity.

2. The subconscious mind: This is that part of our mind which stores everything we experience, right from our first breath in this life to all the evolutionary memories that we are carrying. This is around 88-90% of the total mind capacity which makes it around 6000 times more powerful.

3. We mostly live our lives being ignorant about this part of ourselves (subconscious mind) which is 6000+ times more powerful than what we know.

By default, this becomes the creator of our own destiny, life, and environment.

All our issues, whether physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual come from programs that are stored in this area.

And now, YOU can change it

Hypnotherapy: About

My styles of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy
to help you

For the best results I often use a combination of the styles and methods.

Clinical Hypnosis

Clinical hypnosis provides basis for many styles of hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is a special style of psychotherapy using hypnosis as a tool.

"Trance" means:

  • deep relaxation

  • increased awareness and focus

  • increased sugestibility

Clinical hypnosis is used for suggestions. Suggestions are used for re-programming noneffective belief systems or behaviour.

Hypnotherapy is a very flexible method. It can help nearly with everything: health problems, mental or behavioural issues, spiritual questions, relationship troubles...

For example: skin issues, chronic pain, stop smoking, depression, phobias.

The range is very wide.

Spiritual Hypnosis

Spiritual hypnosis is expanded clinical hypnosis with regression therapy.

Spiritual hypnosis takes into consideration the non-physical part of us: energies, soul, spirit, and other aspects.

This style of hypnotherapy is used for clearing karmic links, finding life purpose, communication with deceased loved ones, life between lives, work with energies, and much more.

This technique sometimes requires deeper states of hypnosis.

Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique

QHHT

QHHT - founded by Dolores Cannon, who made this style very popular.

Nevertheless, the principle of QHHT is not exclusive only for this method, it is part of other regression techniques and hypnotherapies.

The purpose of QHHT is past life regression and then connection and communication with a power we may perceive as higher wisdom, Higher Self, superconsciousness, collective unconscious, etc. Dolores called this wisdom "subconscious, SC."

This technique requires somnambulistic depth of hypnotic state.

Regression Therapy

Regression is used for accessing the past experiences - be it childhood, forgotten memories or events, womb memories. It can go as far as past lives.

Regression therapy is used successfully for remedying experiences, memories and belief systems from childhood.

This method is used for healing phobias, emotional problems or UFO abduction.

Progression Therapy
(Future focused)

A peek into the future clarifies decision making, life's directions, choosing goals and implementing our dreams. This method can unveil life's direction and helps with difficult decisions.

It can also support development of effective neuro-pathways, shifts our being toward manifesting our dreams, goals, and aspirations.

It provides a view from another perspective - to see the wisdom or flaws in our lives/decisions, and it can change it.

Future life progression works with parallel lives and time line. Time Line Therapy is part of this method.

The Simpson's Protocol
Superconsciousness

The Simpson Protocol is a tool that allows the client’s Conscious mind to relax and step aside so that their Superconscious (whatever that may be – but it seems to be – the most powerful mind of minds, that is also the most knowing) can work freely and completely -to the benefit of the Client’s optimum Good.

This technique represents a profound breakthrough in Hypnosis. It is already begun to revolutionize therapies to individualize them for each client by allowing each client’s Super-Conscious Mind to do the work. This is done by continuing to communicate with the Hypnotist while the client is in the deeper states, the client can do their own inner work with the direction of the Hypnotist to help them resolve whatever issue that is disturbing them.

Mindscaping

Mindscaping® is a guided visualisation, developed as a coaching process by the renowned therapist Mike Mandel.
During a Mindscaping® excersise the lymbic system of the brain is stimulated. Limiting emotions and beliefs are thus replaced with empowering patterns.
I love this method, it is very simple, yet powerful. Dramatic positive change happens quickly and easily.

Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapy

Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapy is a process in which a hypnotic trance is induced by the therapist for a client. In this process, the body of the client goes to ‘sleep’ but the mind is aware. The therapist then guides the client into his/her own subconscious mind where the cause of the problem is stored. Once this cause is discovered and understood, suitable techniques are applied to restore the human system back to its inherent state of good health and vitality.

Hypnotherapy: List

Levels of Consciousness & Mind

As we work with it.

Meinlibrarysmaller_edited_edited.png

Conscious Mind

Conscious Mind is only about 10% of our mind.

(John Kappas Theory of The Mind)

It is our Critical Mind - a filter through which we see the world.

  • belief systems and rules

  • analysis

  • competition

  • will power

  • rational

  • shallow form of thought

  • ACTION

  • For many this is our Identity (not always a healthy place too be...)

This is where a part of our EGO resides.

Subconscious Mind

Subconscious Mind contains the majority of our mind.

It is thousand times more powerful than our Conscious Mind!

  • emotions

  • feelings

  • memories

  • beliefs

  • attitudes

  • habits

  • REACTION

  • influences us from the past experiences

The part of nature, a part of our SOUL resides here.

Superconscious Mind

Our connection to the higher wisdom, our guide on the journey through life.

  • higher consciousness

  • higher Self

  • deeper intuition/knowing

  • meaning / connection

  • beyond reality

  • transcendental views

  • elevated emotions unconditional love, joy, excitement

  • spiritual healing

This is where a part of our SPIRIT resides.

Hypnotherapy sessions are designed to work with all levels of "MIND," and if possible, accessing the highest level - our superconscious mind - to obtain most wisdom and lasting changes.

Hypnotherapy: Services & Goals

How To Book a Session

Email me your queries.

Depending on your request and situation, I will suggest the style of hypnotherapy and relevant methods for your session.

For example, “life purpose” would be the best discovered with Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT). Trauma from childhood would be healed with Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapy methods, like Age Regression
I will come back to you with suggestions and available times.

I see clients in person in the Czech Republic, UK and UAE, or worldwide ONLINE (English or Czech language.)

The one-to-one session takes about 4 hours, depending on the issue and style of hypnotherapy.

The session is split into two sections. During the first part, we discuss the issue, and we do work as it may require: belief systems, changing thought patterns, EFT, NLP, coaching, card reading, etc.

During the second part of the session, we do the hypnosis.

Afterwards, we discuss our findings, and we wrap up.

If you prefer an online session, I split the session into two parts as well. First, we meet for about one or two hours, we check our technical equipment, and we discuss the topic, issue, and resolutions. The second session, if preferred to be split, is scheduled shortly after the first one, is for the hypnosis, and it takes about three or four hours.

We take the advantage of the momentum when the client is in the "zone," and we do not usually conduct short session (for example 60-90mins as many therapists do). All is a subject to discussion - my prime objective is to help the client as much as we can in one session.

Hypnotherapy: Text

What to Expect & What Not to Expect

Hypnosis covers a wide range of states - from a very deep relaxation to a very heightened state of awareness.

Hypnosis combines physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of our being. It works holistically, and the results can be noticed in all areas of our lives.

1. Don’t expect to feel being hypnotised.

Many people expect to feel something about hypnosis which is markedly different from their “normal” state of consciousness. This is definitely not the case. Since the hypnotic state (in other words “trance”) is a normal, natural state, you will likely feel a sense of familiarity, no matter how deep in trance you go. Every time you use your imagination, every time you daydream, every time you do something without thinking, you are in a trance state. It is a natural state. The only difference in hypnosis, is that the depth of trance is much deeper.

Hypnosis is not sleep. You will not enter a coma.

You will be aware of my voice the entire session.

To help you achieve the depth of trance for hypnotherapy, I will be talking to you and asking you to follow along. It is that easy. You don’t have to do anything else – just allow your mind to follow.

2. It is YOU, who is in control.

During the hypnotic induction, you need to know that you are in charge. For example, if I told you to stand up, and it was OK, you would, right? But if I told you to rob a bank you wouldn’t do that. Well it’s the same in hypnosis. You are in charge. You only accept the suggestions that are given that are consistent with your own internal values and beliefs.

3. The conscious and subconscious mind.

Your conscious mind is your critical or rational mind and allows you to make yes/no decisions and is responsible for those things you are consciously aware of.

The subconscious mind is that part of the mind that looks after everything else for you. It forms the habit mind, and it is the part that controls everything you do without conscious effort or thought – things that happen automatically, without thinking – blinking, laughing, crying, breathing, etc.

Your subconscious mind remembers everything you have experienced in your lifetime. All your experiences – from the time you were in the womb to this point in your life – everything you learned, everything your saw, everything you heard, everything you touched, everything you said, everything you smelt, every emotional reaction – every memory of that experience is stored in the data-bank of your subconscious mind.

That is the reason you don’t have to re-learn to drive your car every day, or to walk, talk... everything you do automatically without thinking, and you always do those things the same way.

Your subconscious mind accesses that data-bank millions of times each day and uses the stored information to guide the mind in the way it will respond to any given stimuli. These reactions are automatic, and consciously you may not understand why you respond this way. It is a learned behaviour. It is highly unlikely you would even remember when you first learned a particular response because the incident may have been so insignificant at the time. Over time the subconscious response became more intense because the subconscious became better at it. The same way you notice, you get better at doing something when you practice.

This is how your habits are born and grow. Any response to any stimuli is something that has been learned and practiced.

You might have felt a little annoyed at something as a child, and over time something similar to that incident occurred and gradually that grew to anger. It is the same way anxiety is born. All your habits and beliefs developed the same way... from exposure and practice.

For example, any habits and beliefs you may have around food and exercise are not things you were born with. They were things you learned... perhaps from your family or from people around you, perhaps from books or tv. They’re simply things you learned.

4. Are you ready?

You must be willing to do the ‘work,’ and allow you own mind to decide what that work will be.

Every hypnosis is, essentially, self-hypnosis, the therapist is merely your guide, a facilitator, a member of your team.

Preparation for the session

The subconscious mind is extremely powerful.

Years of running the sessions taught me that one cannot have any expectation.

Each session, each issue, each time, is completely different.

Our subconscious mind sometimes works in mysterious ways, and I have learned to trust it.

Your subconscious mind knows EXACTLY what is best for you; it knows the best possible unfoldment of events you perceive in the hypnotic state.

The subconscious mind always protects you, and it makes sure you receive your learnings most organically (unless you are ready for a quantum leap!).

Therefore, come with an open mind and trust the process.

1. Intentions. They are essential elements. What is your intention for having a session? It might be helpful to write it down. There are a lot of reasons for having a session, and knowing your intention would be helpful to both of us. Some common reasons people have sessions are as follows.

2. Expectations. Leave them at the door. I can tell clients all day long not to expect any specifics about their sessions, but almost no one is able to do this completely.

Still, it is helpful to leave as many expectations at the door as possible. Every session is as unique as the individual himself/herself. You can read books or watch videos all day long but your session will unfold in your own consciousness in your own way, and will more beautifully do so if you don’t expect certain things to happen or not happen.

One very important aspect to keep in mind is that almost everyone brings all or a part of their everyday conscious mind along for the experience. Having a hypnotherapy session is not like having anaesthesia. You will likely be aware of your experience as it is happening, and you will likely to remember much, if not all, of the hypnosis when it is over.

Another important concept to remember is that all answers are within, and only you are responsible for your healing. Your answers and healing will come from within. Your innate wisdom, Higher Self, your Divine Aspect, Soul, Spirit, is within you.

This is a wonderful and empowering idea but one that is difficult to grasp for many, especially since most of us have been programmed, since birth, to look for guidance and answers from others!

3. Are you a coffee or tea drinker? Don’t have too many caffeine drinks before your session, but don’t go “cold turkey.” You want to be relaxed, but you do not want to be nursing a caffeine withdrawal headache.

4. Eat a light snack or light meal prior to your session and please don’t start our time together being hungry.

5. Dress very comfortably in loose clothing, minimum amounts of jewellery and go easy on the mascara. Tears are very common, they are “release mechanisms” and are most welcome.

6. Practice quieting or stilling your mind as best as possible with meditation or perhaps even quiet time out in nature – where you are not looking at your phone or focusing on work or other obligations.

And, practice daydreaming and learning how information uniquely comes to you.

Sometimes that is by seeing images, sometimes that is by imagining images, sometimes it can be just like a movie playing behind your eyelids but this is the exception.

Some people hear information in words or voices.

Some just know phrases or get packets of information auditorily.

Some people just get a strong sense of knowing.

Some people feel information emotionally or in their physical body.

A rare few smell or taste their answers, but that is a perfectly valid way to receive information as well.

Information can come in any of these ways!

You will be ahead of the game if you practice this before your appointment.
